Using practical illustrations and memorable real-life examples, he teaches others how to win at home. In his energetic and memorable presentations, Dan talks openly about family life—often by revealing his own struggles or failures. His sincerity leaves audiences nodding in agreement and his quick wit leaves them rolling in the aisles, but ultimately it is Dan’s commitment to God and family that captivates and challenges listeners of all ages. As a featured speaker at various churches and large-scale events such as Promise Keepers weekends, marriage conferences, and university assemblies, Dan has earned recognition as a powerful and passionate communicator. In addition, he has authored seven books and has established himself as a media personality on West Michigan television and on national radio. In 1995, Dan founded Winning At Home, Inc., an organization that produces media resources and hosts special events to develop marriages and families. Prior to founding Winning At Home, Dan served at a large church in Michigan as Pastor of Student Ministries and then as Pastor of Family Life. He and his wife Jane have four children and live in West Michigan, where Dan collects sports memorabilia and golfs as much as possible. What is Men’s Adventure Weekend?  The Men’s Adventure weekend is a series of fun filled adventures for all men to take part in. These adventures are: 1. Skeet Shooting 2. Archery 3. Target Shoot 4. Horseshoes 5. Disc Golf 6. Water Balloon Rocket Launching 7. Miniture Golf 8. Basketball 9. Paintball Challenge 10. Radio Control Car Racing The TEAM Adventures are designed to promote fellowship and encouragement even though score cards are kept.   Everyone is encouraged to join together with a father, son or friend(s).  Regardless of your experience or score these adventures are fun filled and adventure packed!

Picture of Dr. John Brittain, Dean of The Houghton College Chapel and Professor of Religion. Dr. Brittain and his wife Eileen live in Houghton, NY. They have led students on short term missions projects all around the US and the world. He is an author of numerous publications including his last book, With Our Own Eyes published in 2007.
The Sunday afternoon concert will be given by The Dunneman's, Reg and Gretchen of Binghamton, NY. They sing their own blend of gospel music including southern gospel, traditional, hymn, classical and contemporary Christian styles. Their itinerary of almost 300 concerts last year took them from Maine to the Florida Keys and as far west as Wisconsin.
